Frequently Asked Questions
What are the next steps?
After filling in our rehab insurance verification form you will be contacted by an American Addiction Centers (AAC) admissions navigator who will provide you with information to help you make an informed decision about addiction treatment. Our admissions navigators are available to answer any questions you may have as you consider whether treatment with AAC is right for you.
What if I have VA Insurance and another health insurance plan?
Many Veterans have a separate insurance along with their VA benefits. It can be challenging to know which one applies to your treatment. The good news is that you can use alternate insurance without losing your VA benefits if your alternate insurance benefits you more when receiving addiction treatment.
Does TRICARE Cover Drug or Alcohol Rehab?
TRICARE health insurance typically covers drug and alcohol rehab treatment. If you are in need of TRICARE substance abuse treatment, you are eligible for coverage at a wide range of treatment programs, including American Addiction Centers. There are many rehabs that accept TRICARE, but TRICARE rehab coverage depends upon the specific provider at hand, the member’s specific health plan, and a few other variables.
What are the benefits of the VA Community Care Network?
When a drug and alcohol treatment provider is a CCN partner, it can considerably expand the treatment options available to Veterans seeking addiction treatment in their area of residence. It can also make available a wider range of care options that are tailored more precisely to fit a Veteran’s unique needs.
