Sumit Sehgal serves as AAC’s Chief Information Officer, where he is responsible for leading technology initiatives that empower our patients, clinicians, and administrators to deliver and receive life-changing treatment.
As CIO, Sumit leads the design and implementation of AAC’s technology strategy, which is focused on infrastructure optimization, application efficacy, information security, and enterprise analytics. With 25 years of experience in health IT and information security, Sumit is passionate about creating cohesive information security and health technology programs that balance innovation with human factors and bridging those with enterprise and clinical risk.
Before AAC, Sumit held Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer roles with multiple academic health systems and multisite healthcare organizations. Additionally, he served as Strategic Product Marketing Director & Chief Healthcare Strategist for global security technology organizations, where he led the go-to-market efforts for the applicable product portfolios and alignment of product development to healthcare use cases. Sumit is an alumnus from Milwaukee School of Engineering majoring in Software Engineering and holds multiple industry certifications relating to information security program management, auditing and governance of enterprise IT.
