Providing Inpatient Detox Services in Worcester, MA
Drug and alcohol detox, sometimes referred to as medically managed withdrawal, is often considered the first step the recovery process. Detox is a supervised process that helps people safely return to a substance-free state.
When a person is dependent on or addiction to drugs or alcohol suddenly stops using the substance, they can experience withdrawal symptoms. These symptoms can range from mild discomfort to severe, even life-threatening complications. Drug and alcohol detox helps to minimize these symptoms to make the transition as safe and comfortable as possible.
While drug and alcohol detox can be completed in an outpatient or inpatient setting, inpatient detox offers several distinct advantages, including:
- Around-the-clock medical monitoring: Treatment professionals provide continuous care, ensuring your safety and comfort throughout the withdrawal process.
- Supportive and structured environment: In an inpatient setting you are away from “people and places” that may have contributed to substance use, and in an environment that helps you focus solely on recovery.
- Personalized treatment plans: Your care team will develop a plan tailored to your unique circumstances, the substance(s) you’re detoxing from, and any co-occurring health conditions.
- Increased chance of completion: The structure and support of inpatient detox make it more likely for individuals to successfully complete the detoxification process, a crucial first step towards lasting recovery.
In the event of a relapse at any time post-treatment, we will provide qualified individuals with up to 30 days of treatment at no cost to you.*
